Device Challenge Contest Rules

CardiQ.org is excited to announce a Resource Library submission contest focused on Device Management Resources. By contributing high-quality tools and materials, you’ll help expand the CardiQ Resource Library and support the heart rhythm care community. The submission that receives the most engagement on CardiQ.org will earn a complimentary registration to HRS2026 in Chicago, IL, April 23-26, 2026.

Eligibility:

  • The contest is open to all individuals.
  • Participants must have a registered account with the Heart Rhythm Society.
  • Employees of HRS and members of the CardiQ Steering Group are not eligible to participate.
How to Enter:
  • Submit a resource to CardiQ through the Resource Library submission portal.
  • Submitted resources will be reviewed for approval by the CardiQ Steering  Group.
  • Each submission approved for addition to CardiQ counts as one contest entry.
  • There is no limit to the number of entries; the more resources you submit, the more chances you have to win.
Resource Submission Guidelines:
  • Resources must be original and relevant to device management, including (but not limited to) CIED/implantable device management, monitoring workflows, remote device follow-up, clinic operations, patient education for device care, and quality improvement processes related to device programs.
  • Resources should be tied to processes designed to improve quality of care for heart rhythm patients.
  • Acceptable resource types include, but are not limited to: best practices, checklists, protocols, presentations/graphics, educational videos, and interactive tools. Visit the CardiQ Resource Library to view existing resources: https://cardiq.org/resources/search
  • Submissions should not include manuscripts or summaries of research that are not specifically related to device management process improvement (as opposed to clinical research outcomes only).
  • All submissions are subject to the CardiQ contributor agreement which can be found on the Resource Library submission form.
Contest Period:
  • Contest submissions open on December 10, 2025 and close on January 26, 2026.
  • All entries must be received by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on January 26, 2026.
Selection of Winner:
  • Approved entries will be posted to CardiQ on January 30, 2026.
  • The winner will be determined by engagement (“hits”) on CardiQ.org.
    • Participants are encouraged to promote their approved submissions through social media, blogs, email, or other ethical outreach methods to encourage engagement on CardiQ.org.
  • The engagement period will run from February 2-March 2, 2026.
  • The single approved submission with the most hits during the contest period wins.
  • Hits will be tracked by CardiQ.org analytics. CardiQ reserves the right to validate engagement data and exclude artificial or manipulated traffic.

Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize

  • Engagement totals will be finalized by March 4, 2026 and the winner will be notified via email.
  • Winner must claim complimentary registration by March 9, 2026 or the prize may be awarded to the next-most-engaged submission, at CardiQ’s discretion.
Prize:
  • The winner will receive a complimentary registration to HRS2026, taking place April 23-26, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
  • The prize does not include travel, lodging, or other expenses.
Additional Terms:
  • By submitting a resource, participants grant CardiQ the right to use, publish, and share the submitted content on its platform and in other promotional materials.
  • CardiQ reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not comply with these rules or is deemed inappropriate.
  • CardiQ is not responsible for technical issues or submissions not received due to network or server errors.
