Key Takeaways
- Taking time to understand your organization's readiness to undertake a new QI initiative is important for ascertaining whether a change effort is likely to be successful and what key barriers or challenges that effort might face.
- Key components of organizational readiness for change are your organization's capacity to support the necessary work, commitment at all levels to making the work succeed, and the alignment of the change with your organization's culture or values.
